The first major project for Alan Cook Architects was the award winning St. Martin’s Hotel on the Isles of Scilly under the close attention of HRH Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall.
There have followed several new and refurbishment hotel and leisure projects in South West England, London and Northern Ireland with recent projects including a new 60-bed IBIS hotel in The Queen’s Quarter, Belfast, which was handed over in October 2010.
We are also the Architects for the recently completed extension and refurbishment of The Old Inn in Crawfordsburn which incorporates the multi-award winning Lewis restaurant. This project is one of the 2011 finalists in the CEF Awards in the ‘general construction - commercial’ category, to be held on the 6th October (contractor MSM Contracts).
We have also many Golf & Sports Club projects carried out across Northern Ireland.
We have a good knowledge of the Leisure & Hotel industry and its specialist requirements.
